Why did we pick this logo for our new association?
Pyxis (/ˈpɪksɪs/) is a constellation in the southern sky. Abbreviated from Pyxis Nautica, its name is Latin for a mariner's compass. We thought it was very appropriate to choose this symbol as our logo--as we are charting a new course for IT.
With rapid growth and advancements in best practices in the IT service management sector, there is a clear need for an industry unifier to create new intellectual property and value in the form of association memberships and creating structure to begin the development of intellectual property for business acumen and other best practices.
This is why Pyxis was founded and what we’re working hard to achieve.
